The Middlesex Community Pool is open weekends ONLY, beginning Memorial Day weekend until June 24, then every day from June 24 until September 4, 2017. Pool hours are 12pm - 8pm, except September 1-2, when the pool will open at 3pm.

It may still be cold outside and swimming is the furthest thing from your mind but at the Middlesex Community Pool we are planning for a GREAT SUMMER of 2017.

The new renovations and upgrades make the Middlesex Pool better than ever. Plan early, membership fills up quickly.

Applications are available below or can be picked up at the Middlesex Borough Hall and the Middlesex Library, Mountain Avenue, Middlesex, NJ.

We are planning for a Grand Opening party on June 4th from 1pm to 5pm. All are invited to attend. Please come out for a fun filled day or music, food and festivities. Any other questions please call the pool secretary at 908-202-3651.

Hours of Operation

Snack Bar: 12pm - 7:30pm
Pool/Swimming: 12pm - 7:50pm
Lap Pool: 6am - 9am and 12pm - 6:45pm Monday thru Friday
Grounds: 12pm - 8pm

During the month of July, the lap pool closes at 7:00pm for swim team M-F, and Wednesdays at 5:30pm when there is a home swim meet.

Membership Cards

The membership cards should not be discarded at the end of the pool season if you plan on joining again next year. Store them in a safe place for the winter and they will be re-validated when you send in your application and funds. A $5.00 replacement fee per card will be charged for lost or damaged passes.


We do not limit you to the number of guests that you can bring to the pool on any day. It is important that you inform your guests of all the rules and the policies of our pool. It is important to note that we have a NO REFUND policy regarding our guest fees. Please keep in mind that the member is responsible for the actions of the guest.

Proper Telephone

The phone number for the pool is (732) 752-3366. This is the office phone, and is not intended for use by the membership. If you or someone else is trying to contact someone at the pool, you may call this number and an announcement will be made over the loudspeaker. A message will be delivered to that person, but they will not be able to use the office phone to return the message.

Rule Enforcement

Rule enforcement begins at home. Please make sure that you have read all rules and regulations to all members of the pool under your membership. It is the job of the Middlesex Community Pool employees to enforce each and every rule.

Inclement Weather

In case of inclement weather, thunder and lightning, the procedure outlined on the bulletin board next to the first aid door will be followed. Pool will be closed for 30 minutes after the last lightning sighting.

Snack Bar

Members can either purchase food at the snack bar or bring their own refreshments. No food or drinks are allowed outside of the snack bar area.

Birthdays & Parties

The pool can not be closed or rented for birthday parties; however, you may hold these parties here. The member must talk to the front office manager for instructions on how to efficiently run your party. Limit of two parties per day and one table per party. Nominal fee of $25.00.

Water Tests

Between 12:00pm and 5:00pm, water tests for children under the age of 14 will be given during all adult swims. After 5:00pm you should seek a lifeguard who is off duty to administer the test.

Fecal Contamination Policy

In the event of fecal contamination or vomit, the policy which will be followed is outlined on the bulletin board next to the first aid door.


The calendar has a list of all scheduled events. If there is a change in the date or time of these events, posters will be placed at the entranceway to the pool indicating the changes.
